Impact Producer
Young Bosses of Harlem was a transformative entrepreneurship boot camp empowering Harlem youth with essential business skills, mentorship, and startup resources.
Through my partnership with Harlem Business Alliance, I recruited students, coordinated program logistics, secured resources, and supported implementation. Out of 10 program graduates, three students won $500 grants toward their businesses, and one student successfully launched a storefront business, leveraging their program earnings and connections. I ensured the program emphasized culturally relevant entrepreneurship models that resonated with Harlem’s creative spirit.
Key Highlights:
Successfully recruited and supported a cohort of 10 students, with 3 grant winners.
Helped facilitate the launch of a student-owned storefront business post-program.
Coordinated instructor selection, program materials, and mentorship structures.
Built strong community partnerships to provide funding and business startup resources.
Developed workshops emphasizing real-world entrepreneurial action and ownership.
